Q: What is a Macintosh Server?

A: A Macintosh Server is one that uses software from Apple. Macintosh servers can
pereform most tasks as well as any other Windows NT, Novell Netware or Linux server
uses server software from Apple. Apple’s latest Mac hosting software is a
Mac OS X server which incldes the Unix web server apache enabling the
use of PHP Perl and many other popular scripts.
